Who
are Messianic Jews? We know
that the faith in Messiah (Jesus
Christ) was born in Eretz
Israel. First followers of Yeshua
were Jewish people and they were called “anshei
derech“(people
of the way). What kind of name is this? They
followed the One who called Himself
– “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life” therefore
they became people of the Way. This is the most
important way in the history of a mankind – the
way to the Heavenly Father! The influence of
the first Messianic Jews has spread all over
the world. Many Gentiles turned to God through
the Messiah Yeshua and the first church was born.
Return
to Zion Ministry has started
from the small congregation in Haifawhich
was born in 2001 as a result of the
productive work of Messianic congregation
Tents of Mercy (Kiriyat-Yam).
There are many examples of how a
congregation
gives birth to another congregation
but for Israel It was an unusual
event. Almost during 2000 years Messianic
congregation haven’t produced daughter
congregations. Speaking in the Biblical
words the womb of the Daughter of
Zion has been closed for 2000 years..
Scripture
says “He who observes the day, observes
it for the Lord, and he who eats,
does so for the Lord, for he gives
thanks to God; and he who eats not,
for the Lord he does not eat, and
gives thanks to God.” (Romans 14:6)
We believe that Israeli congregations have to realize
the spiritual meaning of our days. Today we can
influence on the future and on the calling of Israeli
people. Being ‘the salt’ of the nation Messianic
believers must work and observe the days in order...
Many
religious web-sites publish their
materials to confirm ‘the kosher’
(appropriateness) of their faith.
You won’t find in here but you
still will read our understanding
of some things.
We know that both Jews and non-Jews who live in
Israel are called by God to observe the Torah and
the eternal commandments. Does it give us salvation?
No! The faith in Yeshua, the Son of God, the Anointed
One who died to redeem Israel and all nations of
the world gives us salvation. He paid the highest
price for us when he died for our sins and rose
from the dead. Therefore in the same way as first
believers we have a task to identify ourselves
with Him, with His life, with His death, with His
resurrection, and with His glory.
